Setting up an electronic mailbox for a self-employed individual

An electronic mailbox for a self-employed individual is set up automatically once the authority responsible for setting up the mailbox is informed that the individual has obtained a business licence.

The mailbox is set up free of charge for everyone, without the need to submit an application. You can access the mailbox by using the “Log in to the portal” function in the upper-right corner of the screen.

For each mailbox, its owner has access to information and data concerning:

• the electronic mailbox identifier;
• the identifier of the person/mailbox owner;
• the date and time when the mailbox was created, activated, deactivated, and cancelled;
• the date and time of each access to the mailbox;
• the date and time when the authorisations for the mailbox were changed;
• the date and time when an electronic message was sent or received, including the identifier of the person who logged into the mailbox or sent the message;
• the person who is or was authorised, in addition to the mailbox owner, to use and manage the mailbox, including the scope of their authorisation.
