The self-employed individual for whom the electronic mailbox has been established—the mailbox owner—is entitled to access and manage the electronic mailbox. In addition to the mailbox owner, a person authorized by the owner is also entitled to access and manage the electronic mailbox of the self-employed individual, within the scope of authorization specified by the owner.
The mailbox owner or a person authorized by the owner logs into the electronic mailbox using an identity card with an electronic chip (eID card) and a personal security code, or a residence permit with an electronic chip and a personal security code.
The granting of authorization to access and manage the electronic mailbox, as well as any changes to such authorization, shall be carried out by the mailbox owner through the designated function of the electronic mailbox or by submitting a paper document bearing the officially certified signature of the electronic mailbox owner.
