If the electronic mailbox has not been cancelled, the mailbox owner may request its reactivation for delivery purposes no earlier than six months after the last deactivation. Reactivation will take place without delay (taking into account personnel and technical capacities) following receipt of the request.
If the mailbox has been deactivated twice during the immediately preceding 15-month period, the owner may reactivate it only after 12 months have elapsed since the last deactivation.
A request for reactivation may be submitted using the electronic mailbox function or in paper form with the applicant's officially certified signature. The request is subject to an administrative fee of EUR 10 (for a paper application) or EUR 5 (for an electronic application).
If the electronic mailbox was deactivated due to the death of a natural person – entrepreneur, or if the entrepreneur was declared dead by a final and legally binding decision, the electronic mailbox will be reactivated for delivery purposes upon request of a person authorised under specific legislation to continue the business activities of the electronic mailbox owner. Reactivation will take place on the date specified in the request, but no earlier than the third working day following its delivery. In this case, reactivation of the electronic mailbox for delivery purposes is free of charge.
