A citizen for whom an electronic mailbox has been established is its owner and is authorized to manage and access the mailbox.
Access to and management of an electronic mailbox belonging to a natural person is granted to the natural person for whom the mailbox was established – its owner. In addition to the mailbox owner, another person authorized by the owner may also access and manage the mailbox, within the scope of authorization specified by the owner.
Authorization or granting access to a designated natural person or legal entity can be carried out by submitting the application “Granting authorization to a natural/legal person to represent an entity”, which is available in your electronic mailbox under “Create an application” (in the previous version of the mailbox) or under Settings → Authorizations of persons (in the new version of the mailbox). Once the application has been approved, the scope of authorization granted to the authorized person can be selected using the electronic mailbox functions.
You can also submit a request for access to the electronic mailbox in paper form by completing the relevant form, which can be found in the FormsOpens in a new windowsection. The completed paper application must be sent to: National Agency for Network and Electronic Services, Tower 115, Pribinova 25, 811 09 Bratislava, Slovakia.
